LEWISTOWN - A Lewistown woman fired two shots from a handgun during a domestic dispute with her husband Tuesday afternoon, Lewistown Police Department reports.
According to the report, at 5 p.m. police responded to the 200 block of Logan Street with reports of shots fired.
Police said when they arrived they found a female later identified as Amy Druckemiller, 37, being restrained by people at the scene.
Police said an investigation revealed that Druckemiller had allegedly pointed a handgun at her husband during a prolonged domestic dispute inside their residence on Logan Street.
According to the report, officers determined that a struggle ensued for the handgun and Druckemiller fired two shots inside, with neither shot hitting anyone.
Police said neighbors heard the shots and called the police.
The report states no one was injured during the incident.
According to the report, police recovered the handgun involved in the incident during the investigation.
Police said Druckemiller was arrested at the scene and is facing charges of attempted murder, attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another.
Police said Druckemiller is being held in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility awaiting court action.
