LEWISTOWN - C. Larry Stewart, 72, of Lewistown, died at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
Born Feb. 23, 1940, in Burnham, he was the son of the late Carl H. and M. Evelyn (Van Art) Stewart.
Surviving are: his wife, Margaret M. (Dunn) Stewart, whom he married on Aug. 25, 1962; children, Eric K. Stewart and Michelle R. Knepp and her husband, John, of Lewistown; five grandchildren, Andrew, Cullen, McKenna, Abbey and Allix; brothers, David Stewart and his wife, Donna, Kurt Stewart and his wife, Judy, and Scott Stewart and his wife, Cynde, all of Lewistown.

Larry was a 1959 graduate of Chief Logan High School, served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965, worked at Standard Steel until 1986 and was a Christian by faith.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, camping and target shooting.
Larry was a member of the Lewistown Pistol Club, Mifflin County Sports Club and Yeagertown Fire Co.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Robert Davidson officiating.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home.
Interment, with VFW Post 7011 honors will take place in Juniata Memorial Cemetery.
