GRANVILLE - Warren E. "Skip" Bowersox Sr., 68, of 77 Bowersox Lane, Granville, died Saturday morning, Oct. 20, 2012, at his residence.
Born Jan. 25, 1944, in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Marvin Herman and Verna Flo (Kerchner) Bowersox.
He is survived by: children, Jon K. Bowersox and wife, Tina, of Milroy, Tracey L. Walters and husband, Ken, of Belleville, Sherry A. Boisvert and friend, Bill, of Morrisdale, and Warren E. Bowersox Jr., of Granville; brothers, Gary K. Bowersox Sr. and wife, Susan, of Milroy, and Marvin H. Bowersox Jr. and wife, Audrey, of Granville; six grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Josh, Brad, Anthony and Emerick; and eight great-grandchildren, Thaddeus, Harlee, Landen, Layten, Emari, Braylin, Hailey and Braeden.

He was a 1961 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the 101st Airborne Division.
Warren retired in 2005 with 41 years of service as a machinist with Standard Steel, in Burnham.
He was a member of Milroy American Legion and Lewistown Lodge 203 Free and Accepted Masons.
Warren was an avid fisherman, hunter and poker buddy.
He was a motorcyclist and toured with Touring Friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main St., Reedsville, with Pastor Mark Hill officiating.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
