WESTHAMPTON, N.Y. - Donald Raymond Sr., a resident of the Westhampton Care Center in Westhampton, N.Y., died on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Peconic Bay Medical Center, due to complications from a stroke he suffered four years ago. He was 78.

He is survived by: a son, Don Raymond Jr. and his wife, Laura, of Hampton Bays; a daughter, Liz Lynch and her husband, Brian, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandsons, Sean and Ethan Lynch; a sister, Marean Smutna; two nieces, Shelley and Deanne Smutna, of Cleveland, Ohio; and a nephew, Chris Maguire and his wife, Patrice, of Baton Rouge, La.

Also surviving are: a niece by marriage, Kathy Weston (formerly Maguire), of Lewistown; three great-nieces, Tara Herwig and her husband, Jeremy, Erin Maguire and Kelley Maguire, all of Lewistown; four great-nephews, Matt Zaniewski, of Wisconsin, Christopher Maguire and Kyle Maguire, of Michigan, and Kristian Maguire of Louisiana; one great- grandniece, Emma Herwig; a close friend, Elaine Robb, of Lewistown; and his former wife, Jean Raymond, of Hampton Bays.

A memorial service and interment of ashes will take place in Lewistown in June.
