LEWISTOWN - Belva Irene Davis, 96, of Lewistown, died at 8:11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Ohesson Manor Nursing Home.
Born on July 21, 1916, in Burnham, she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Minnie (Young) Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Davis, on Oct. 3, 2012.

Also preceding her in death were four brothers and two sisters.
Belva is survived by: daughters, Dorothy Marker and her husband, Jones, and Shirley Lynn and her husband, David, all of Lewistown; sister, Pearl Murphy, of Lewistown; five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren.
Belva worked in the cake converting department at the American Viscose Corp. for 14 years.
Belva was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Friendship Sunday School Class and she enjoyed needle crafting.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Kari Swigart officiating. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
