LEWISTOWN - Rose P. Gibbons, 93, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Golden Living Center-William Penn.
Born Aug. 30, 1919, in Glouster, N.J., she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Dempsey) Zeiswiess. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Gibbons, in 1983.
She is survived by: daughters, Mary Ann Gibbons, of East Waterford, Dorothy Yoder, of East Waterford, and Fran Devine, of Georgia; and six grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by a brother, William Zeiswiess and sisters, Verna Black, Margaret Benton, Elizabeth Sommers, Ruth Dryer and Dorothy Zeiswiess.
She worked motel maintenance for various motels.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at the Barr Funeral Home Inc., 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. William Weary officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday. Interment will be in East Waterford Cemetery.
