LEWISTOWN - Charles W. McMinn, 81, of Burnham, died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the Lewistown Hospital.
Born on May 22, 1931, in Burnham, he was the son of the late John and Margareta (Dull) McMinn.
Charles is survived by his wife, Dolores (Benner) McMinn, whom he married on Feb. 14, 1953.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: sons, Kirk W. McMinn and his wife, Constance, of Lewistown and Douglas C. McMinn and his wife, Teresa, of Reedsville; brother, James McMinn, of Lewistown; sister, Barbara Cooper and her husband, John, of Burnham; four grandchildren, Kelly, Kerry, Heather and Eric McMinn; and three great-grandchildren, Ian, Carter and Collin McMinn.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
He was a graduate of Burnham High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
Charles worked at Claster's, in Lewistown, and later in life was a supervisor at Marlette Homes for 14 years, retiring in 1995.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place in Mount Rock Cemetery.
