MIFFLINTOWN - A McAlisterville man died at 12:03 a.m. Saturday after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of state Route 35 and Stop Plaza Drive in Fermanagh Township, Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown report.
Police said Anthony Scott Barth, 47, was driving north on state Route 35 in a 1998 Ford Mustang and did not slow down or yield to a International Harvester making a left turn onto Stop Plaza Drive from the southbound lane of Route 35.
The report states the Harvester was already through the intersection and making the turn when Barth's car hit the semi-trailer of the Harvester, killing Barth, who was not wearing a seatbelt, and causing disabling damage to the Mustang and the trailer.
The driver of the Harvester, a 49-year-old male from Perrysburg, Ohio, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured, according to the report.
Police said no charges will be filed against the driver of the Harvester and the crash investigation is continuing, pending toxicology and autopsy results from the Juniata County Coroner's Office.
The report states Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown were assisted by Central Juniata EMS.
