September 26, 2012
Lewistown Sentinel

To the editor:

The Lost Creek Community Park Board would like to thank the 2012 United Way Day of Caring for their help in working in the McAlisterville Community's Park. Employees of First National Bank of Mifflintown (Bobbi Leister, Nanci Aumiller, Cookie Zeiders, Neal Shawver, Lee Hopkins, Lew Davey, Roy Leister) and Health South Nittany Valley (Kris Varner, Barb Angelo, Tracy Ewing, Lori Bubb, Deb Mohr, Amanda McNitt, Jim Weaver) helped by trimming and cleaning branches, removing old fencing and posts, cleaning and repainting benches and bridges, and other general park clean up.

The park board would also like to thank Deamer Mulch in Mifflintown for their help in cleaning and removing branches. Bassler's Customs Wood Flooring for equipment use, and Cocolamus Creek Disposal for material and refuse removal.

The Lost Creek Community Park is operated and maintained by volunteers and appreciates all the community support and help we receive.
