LEWISTOWN - A woman was arrested for threatening people with knives at 2 a.m. Saturday, on Knepp Street, Lewistown, Lewistown Police Department reports.
Police said they first responded to a report at a Spring Street residence of a possible domestic incident.
Police said they met a man who stated that a woman was at the residence and had been drinking alcohol. Police said the man claimed the woman tried to cut herself with a knife but she refused to seek any medical assistance.
Lewistown Police Department then responded to a report that the couple from Spring Street were now on Knepp Street and threatening people with knives. According to the report, officers could not locate the pair until a witness stated the woman was back near Spring Street and the officers found her there.
Police identified the female as Jackie Jackson, 39, and she was arrested on public intoxication charges and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
