Thomas F. ‘Tom’ Arnold

MIDDLEBURG - Thomas F. "Tom" Arnold, 55, of Middleburg, died on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at his home.

Born on March 25, 1957, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Leroy H. and Stella L. "Peg" (Britcher) Arnold.

He is survived by two brothers, Scott Arnold and his wife, Alice, of Mifflintown, and Ronald H. Arnold and his wife, Yvonne, of Port Royal, and he leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Arnold was a 1975 graduate of Juniata High School, Mifflintown, and was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church, Mifflintown. He was a former member of the Crawford Brubaker VFW Post 5869, American Legion Post 298, both of Mifflintown, and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 925, Millerstown.

Tom was currently employed at Northway Industries, Middleburg.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, from the Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St. Mifflintown, with the Rev. Martha Pardee-Carlson officiating. Interment will follow in the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.

There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service, Monday, at the funeral home.
