LEWISTOWN - No decision regarding the merger of Lewistown Hospital with an outside entity was made at the September board meeting, held Wednesday, said Kay Hamilton, president and CEO of Lewistown Hospital.
"Though we had every intention of making a final decision at the meeting, the discussion remained a discussion," Hamilton said. "No final decisions about the possible merger or possible merging entity were made."
The next board meeting will be held Oct.1; however, Hamilton does not guarantee that any decisions will be made then.
"I cannot predict when the board will be ready to move forward and make a choice," Hamilton said. "As soon as I know, the community will know."
