ETTERS - Cloyd Alfred Spigelmyer, 86, of Fairview Township, Etters, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012. at Homeland Center, Harrisburg, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Jan. 26, 1926, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to the late Jasper Wilson and Della (Guisewhite) Spigelmyer. He was the widower of Sidnee June Dorwart Spigelmyer, his soul mate and love of his life. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Raymond, and a sister, Vivian Hurlbert.
He is survived by: two sons, Timothy L. (George R. Park), of Etters, and Kevin L. (Sonja Reed), of Etters; a daughter, Cynthia L. Henson, of Lewisberry; four grandchildren, Cara, Nathan, Joshua, and Levis; and many nieces and nephews.

A World War II Navy veteran, he was retired as vice president of sales for Blackhawk Corporation, Milwaukee, Wis. He was a 1944 graduate of the former Yeagertown High School. He was an active member of Mount Calvary Episcopal Church, Camp Hill, for more than 60 years. He was active with fundraising projects at the Red Land Senior Citizen Center, Lewisberry, and volunteered with meals on wheels. He was an avid golfer.
A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Mt. Calvary Episcopal Church, Camp Hill. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township.
