To the editor:
I would like to express a sincere thank you to all who showed kindness and caring for my son Chris Bishop during his battle with cancer.
The visits of many caring friends and family helped him endure through very tough times.
A special thank you to all the churches who not only kept praying for my child but also helped with our needs.
A special thank you to the workers of Community Resources for Independence who gave times of laughter and happiness to my son.
A special thank you to Hospice - to the workers who went beyond their normal duties in love and compassion for my son. Thank you to his pastor whose support helped him more of all.
Chris is greatly missed, leaving our hearts in pieces. He told me prior to his death that "he would be gone but the love would still be here."
The love that I have for this child and the love that many have for him is what helps us now endure.
You are greatly loved and missed Chris. You're in all our thoughts and prayers.
