Barbara L. DeVore and Joshua M. Swisher are engaged to be married on May 23, 2013, at the Dreams Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William DeVore Jr., of Mechanicsburg. She is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, and is employed as a compliance administrator for a community bank in York.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Swisher, of Berwick, and the grandson of Ken and Nancy Barnes, of Burnham, and the late Kay Leeper (Brittain). He is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, and is employed as a sales representative for Spectrum Surgical Instruments.
