Kristi A. Cavanaugh, of Wilmington, Del., and John J. Adams, of Milford, Del., were married on Sept. 10, 2011, at Rehoboth Beach, Del.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Joyce Cavanaugh, of McVeytown. The groom is the son of Eugene and Mary Ellen Adams, of Dover, Del.
Andrea Bickert, of McVeytown, was the matron of honor, and Ashley Cavanaugh, of Allentown, niece of the bride, was the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Amy Mulder, of Zionsville, sister of the bride, and Cara Blankenbicker, of Wilmington, Del.

Groomsmen were: Micah Adams, of Dover, Del., brother of the groom; Luke Adams, of Las Vegas, Nev., brother of the groom; and Daniel Nelson, of Greenwood, Del.
Ushers were John Mulder, of Zionsville, nephew of the bride, and Asher Waid, of Dover, Del., nephew of the groom.
The ring bearer was Jeremiah Waid, of Dover, Del., nephew of the groom.
Judge Alan Davis performed the ceremony that also included: John Mulder Jr., of Zionsville, brother-in-law of the bride, Ashley Cavanaugh, of Allentown, niece of the bride, and Berlin Stokes, of Newark Del., as readers; Rebekah Waid, of Dover, Del., niece of the groom, as program attendant; and Stephen Cavanaugh, of Allentown, nephew of the bride, as music organizer.
A reception followed at The Cordrey Center in Millsboro, Del.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 2000 graduate of Lebanon Valley College. She is employed as a staff chemist at the DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington, Del.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Dover High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Delaware's Lemer College of Business and Economics, with Bachelor of Arts degrees in finance and management, and a 2004 graduate of Wilmington University, with a Master of Business Administration degree. He is also a 10-year veteran of the U.S. Army as a military police staff sergeant. He is employed as a magistrate in the State of Delaware's Justice of the Peace Court.
Following a wedding trip to Scotland and Ireland, they live in Milford, Del.
