Tristan Hileman, 10, left, and Cole Baker, 12, stand in line in a simulated soup kitchen set up Wednesday by the First United Methodist Church in the LUMINA Center basement in Lewistown. Youth from the church set up a homeless village in the parking lot on the corner of Third and Dorcas streets to bring awareness to homelessness and to raise money for the local homeless shelter. The children and supervisors planned to spend the night in their cardboard shelters to experience homelessness for themselves. Participants have a scheduled wake-up at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and a service at First United Methodist Church.
