To the editor:
Lamentations 1-5, describes a nation that was once a great nation that stood proud and tall above all others. It reads, "O Lord earnestly remember what has come upon us! Look down and see our reproach, our national disgrace. Our inheritance has fallen over to strangers, our houses to foreigners. We have to pay money to drink the water that belongs to us, our own wood is sold to us. Our enemies are upon our necks like a yoke."
America is at a critical place in history, and every American is going to be affected by what happens in November. This nation was never fallen so far from what it used to be, from what it used to stand for and be honored for until the last four years.
We have a power-crazed madman in office as president who has disgraced, and bankrupted this nation financially and morally. He has totally ignored our Constitution showing utter disrespect for the founding fathers of this country, and is showing the same disrespect for millions of Americans today. He believes he can, and does, make his own laws to fit his agenda of self-glorification, and total authority of this country. His main target to oppress and destroy is the heart of this nation: One nation under God.
If any individual, group, or business opposes his authority he writes new laws to shut them up, or shut them down. He and his big-mouth bullies threaten with lawsuits, boycotts, whatever they can use to intimidate those who disagree with him. He has made it very clear what he is working hard to do and that is eradicate God out of the affairs of this nation.
As he and the Democratic Party openly promote legalizing same-sex marriage they are literally shaking their fists in the face of Almighty God saying we will make our laws, and do what we want and nothing or no one can stop us.
God is not mocked or threatened by mere man. He will not turn His face away. This unholy alliance of same-sex marriage is a perverted theology birthed in the sewers of hell itself. Obama and his friends are trying to push this filthy despicable lifestyle down the throats of all Americans and if he is voted back into office he will do just that. He has already brought shame on this nation and the American people and now is determined to drag it into the same sewer that he and his kind wallow in.
America's hope lies in the God fearing, God honoring people who are fed up promising to make every ungodly demand into a law. But he refuses to even acknowledge anyone who wants the right to bring Godly principle into decisions made by the government.
We were granted the right of religion, the freedom to worship God and not be threatened by politicians who serve their own agendas. Millions of lives have been lost on the battlefields to keep America a free nation. How can we as Americans sit back and let people like Obama continue to tear down what's been built on the shed blood of these brave men and women?
Proverbs 29:2 says that when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice. What makes a nation great is when the people have a government, Not when the government has the people.
This nation does not belong to the Republicans or the Democrats, it belongs to the American people who have for generations lived here, who work here and consider it a privilege to work, who raise their families here and have deep spiritual roots here. No one in the government or out of the government has the right to deny us that freedom, and they don't have the right to make laws to force us to deny our faith in a sovereign God, and accept the filthy lifestyles they live.
Look back to what a big mouth atheist did to the school system: Prayer was denied the children. Now schools are war zones with many dead and many permanently scarred. Our right to display the Ten Commandments is denied, towns that have any Christian symbol on signs are taken to court, we are being told not to say Merry Christmas because it offends some people. What will be the next freedom taken by those who hate Christmas?
We must speak out of righteousness, and stand up for the children that are being brain-washed by these liberals into believing that homosexuality is normal and OK. They are being taught this in first grade now. Parents are the only ones who should have control over what their children are taught in the schools, but too few will stand up and fight for their kids.
2 Peter 6:2 says God turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemning them, and making them an example for others that would live the same ungodly lives. God has not changed his mind concerning such sin, he clearly stated those in Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire to warn all this too shall be their judgement.
