LEWISTOWN - Olde Thyme Reflections will hold its grand opening celebration Saturday, although the shop is currently open for business.
A fall open house will be held Aug. 9 and 10 at the store, which is located inside the Asher's Chocolate Building, on Susquehanna Avenue in Lewistown. The new primitive country store and gift shop offers a variety of home decor and gift items.
Owner Staci Deamer worked for The Olde Hatchery, a similiar style shop, for nearly 10 years. The owners recently retired and closed shop, leaving her with the perfect opportunity to pursue her dream of opening her own store. Her long-time friend and co-worker, Jayne Kanagy, who also worked at The Olde Hatchery, has been busy designing wreaths and arrangements and also decorating the store for the grand opening.
