LEWISTOWN - Mark your calendars! The Taste of Home Cooking School is coming to Lewistown in October.

The Sentinel is bringing the Taste of Home Fall Cooking School to Mifflin County High School for a Saturday afternoon show that will begin at 3 on Oct. 13. Before the show, local vendors will be set up in the school, and VIP ticketholders will be treated to a backstage tour and meet-and-greet session with Chef Cheryl Cohen, who is returning to Lewistown after hosting the local show last November.

The event will mark the sixth time The Sentinel has brought the show to the area in the past five years, during which some 4,000 people have attended to watch the live cooking demonstrations, interact with vendors and win door prizes.
