Richard and Virginia Leidich Weicheld, of Collegeville, formerly of Milroy, were married on June 21,1952, at St. Paul's Luthern Church.
She is the daughter of the late Bud and Anne Leidich, and was a teacher in the junior high school of Armagh Brown from 1951 to 1953.
For their special anniversary, the Weichelds were entertained at a picnic in their honor at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Sue Weicheld, in Phoenixville.

The Weichelds are the parents of five children: Anne and husband Rick Pennypacker, Susan Weicheld, Sally Weicheld Sweeney, Ted and wife Sue, and Max and wife Nancy.
They have eight grandchildren: Liz Pennypacker Haring and husband Nate, Ross and Matt Pennypacker, Doug, Paul, Martin Sweeney, Julie and Hannah Weicheld, Amelia and August Weicheld, and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Sam Haring.
