Lauren Marie Shoop, of Belleville, and Franklin Curtis Walters, of Lewistown, were married on Oct. 15, 2011, at Valley View Chapel in Belleville.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Shoop, of Belleville, and the late David B. Shoop. The groom is the son of Lee and Brad Walters, of Lewistown.

Sara Goss, of Milroy, was the maid of honor.

The best man was Eric Kress, of Lewistown.

Bridesmaids were Tasha Wise, of Mechanicsburg, and Carma Quinomez, of Belleville.

The flower girl was Lydia Carpenter, of Lewistown, daughter of the groom.

Ushers were Joe and Jobe Cox, of Belleville, brother-in-law and nephew of the groom.

The Rev. Gerald Peachey performed the ceremony that also included Ruth Hunter as harpist, and Miranda Bender, niece of the bride, as guest book attendant. The bride's escort was Stan Yoder, of McVeytown, uncle of the bride.

A reception followed at Lewistown Country Club.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 2010 graduate of the Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center licensed practical nurse program. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Valley View in Belleville.

Following a wedding trip to Paradise Stream Resort in the Poconos, they live in Belleville.
