LEWISTOWN - Two local men are "on the road again" with a new mobile auto business.
Craig Morton and Frank Hernandez, of Lewistown, are proud to announce the opening of Morton's Mobile Oil and Lube. The business is primarily run by Morton, with guidance from his friend, Hernandez, and will offer oil and brake changes at the customer's location.

Craig Morton works on a car Wednesday afternoon on Logan Street in Lewistown. He and Frank Hernandez opened a mobile auto business that offers oil changes at the customer’s location.
Morton, originally from Sunbury, grew up in autobody and worked in various garages when he was younger. After most of his families members moved out-of-state, Morton came to Lewistown and met Hernandez, who encouraged him to embrace his skills and experience by opening his own business.
"There are no jobs in the area right now," explained Hernandez, "so we are creating a job."
Morton liked the idea and agreed to pursue it.
"I wanted to own a business of my own," he said.
He can contribute his entrepreneurial spirit to several generations of small business owners in his family, including his father and great-grandmother.
For Morton, the goal behind his business is to help the residents of his community. The services he offers are competitively priced, with added mobile convenience.
"Wherever the car is, we go to the car," said Hernandez.
Morton also emphasized his focus on good customer service and community. He plans to offer special programs and promotions to help area residents who are on a tight budget.
"When the community helps us out, we'll give back," he explained.
"This is a good community," Hernandez said, as he nodded in agreement, "you always have to give back to the community."
In the future, Morton hopes that the business will grow large enough to offer jobs to his relatives and other area residents. For now, he is just happy to be able to offer auto maintenance services to his community.
