Beth A. (Moore) Alexander, of Lewistown, and Robert L. Bishop, of McVeytown, were married on Oct. 1, 2011, at the Lewistown Assembly of God Church.
The bride is the daughter of John D. Moore and the late Julia A. Moore, of Lewistown. The groom is the son of the late Clarence F. Bishop and Maxine Orth, of Lewistown.
Hannah N. Alexander, of Lewistown, daughter of the bride, was the maid of honor.

The bride was given in marriage by her children, Nicholas and Hannah Alexander.
The Rev. Dennis Sproull performed the ceremony that also included Maria Lucci, vocalist.
A reception followed at the church fellowship hall.
The bride is a 1980 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 1982 graduate of South Hills School of Business and Technology. She is employed as a lab receptionist at the Mount Nittany Physicians Group.
The groom is a 1962 graduate of Lewistown High School. He is retired.
They live in McVeytown.
