Earnest-Kauffman

Melissa Earnest, of Reedsville, and Darren Kauffman, of Burnham, were married on Oct. 15, 2011, at Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Gail Earnest, of Lewistown. The groom is the son of Merle and Joann Kauffman, of Burnham.

Michelle Rearick, of Port Matilda, friend of the bride, was matron of honor.

The best man was Chris Kauffman, of Beavertown, brother of the groom.

Bridesmaids were: Cindi Earnest, of Lewistown, sister in law of the bride; Sherri Earnest, of Lewistown, sister in law of the bride; Dawn Pardoe, of Bellwood, sister of the groom; and Hannah Kauffman, of Lewistown, daughter of the groom.

The flower girl was Emma Kauffman, of Lewistown, daughter of the groom.

Groomsmen were: Ryan Kauffman, of Burnham, brother of the groom; Cole Kauffman, of Burnham, son of the groom; Mark Earnest, of Lewistown, brother of the bride; Chad Earnest, of Lewistown, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Cameron Earnest and Nathan Earnest, nephews of the bride.

The ring bearer was Trevor Sholly, of Bellwood, nephew of the groom.

The Rev. Clair L Diven Jr. performed the ceremony that also included Svetlana Rodionova as pianist, and Jill Kauffman, sister of the groom, as guest book attendant.

A reception followed at the East Derry Fire Co. in Lewistown.

The bride is a 1988 graduate of Chief logan High School. She is employed at Wegmans in State College.

The groom is a 1989 graduate of Indian Valley High School. He is employed at Eastern Concrete Industries in Middleburg.

Following a wedding trip to the Poconos, they live in Reedsville.
