LEWISTOWN - The Sentinel-produced hardcover book "Glory Days Volume Two: Sports in the Juniata Valley" is completed and has arrived at The Sentinel's office for pickup.
Starting today, anyone who pre-ordered this limited-edition book may stop at The Sentinel building, located at 352 Sixth St., Lewistown, during regular business hours to pickup their copy if they indicated that they wanted it held at The Sentinel. The Sentinel business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving.
For those who requested and paid for shipping, the books are going out this week in the mail.
For those who have not pre-ordered the book, there are a limited number still available. Editions may be purchased at The Sentinel office, by calling 248-6741 or online at www.lewistownsentinel.com. The cost is $24.95 plus tax and optional shipping.
"Glory Days Volume Two: Sports in the Juniata Valley" is a 144-page commemorative hardcover book that features reader-contributed photos and clippings from local sports teams and players from as early as the 1800s.
