Sarah Elizabeth King and Wolf Jayson Powell, both of Mifflintown, are engaged to be married on Oct. 6, 2012, at C. Barton McCann School of Art.
She is the daughter of Denny and Sandy King, of Mifflintown. She is a 2005 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2008 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College. In May, she will receive her degree in education from Liberty University. She then plans to get her master's in teaching elementary education.
He is the son of Harold "Junior" and Kay Powell, of Mifflintown. He is a 1998 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2002 graduate of Millersville University. He is a first lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and is stationed in Twentynine Palms, Calif. He is currently deployed to Afghanistan.
