Elizabeth Dodson and Justin Schaffer, of Palo Alto, Calif., are engaged to be married on Nov. 10, 2012, at the Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore, Md.
She is the daughter of Kathy and Ray Dodson, formerly of Reedsville, and now from Long Neck, Del. She is a 1999 graduate of Indian Valley High School, a 2004 graduate of New York University and a 2007 graduate of Harvard Law School. After four years as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, she recently became a consultant at The Bridgespan Group in San Francisco.
He is the son of John and Marlene Schaffer, of Edgewater, Md. He is a 1999 graduate of Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif., a 2003 graduate of Stanford University and a 2010 graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a second-year resident in cardiothoracic surgery at the Stanford University Medical Center.
