David DeVita and Marissa Householder, of Philadelphia, are engaged to be married in the fall of 2012.
He is the son of Janet and Stan Snyder and Drs. Dennis and Jean DeVita, of Lewistown. She is the daughter of Foster and Carla Householder, of Sparta, N.J.
He received his Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance from Susquehanna University. He is employed at the John Templeton Foundation as an investment analyst.

She received her Master of Arts in counseling psychology with an art therapy specialization. She is employed as an art therapist at the Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy.
