Erica Shimp, of Lewistown, and Toby Hartlaub, of Littlestown, are engaged to be married on May 5, 2012, at Lewistown Country Club.
She is the daughter of William and Pamela Shimp, of Lewistown. She is a 2001 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 2010 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College. She is employed as the assistant director at Panda Preschool and Daycare, in Burnham.
He is the son of Albert and Joyce Hartlaub, of Gettysburg. He is a 1991 graduate of Littlestown High School and a 2002 graduate of Penn State University. He is employed as the operations manager at TBM Hardwoods, in Hanover.
