Amanda Heimbach and Joshua Christ, both of Port Royal, are engaged to be married on Sept. 24 at the Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church, Mifflintown.
She is the daughter of Correne and Jeff Fawver Sr., of Mifflin, and Wayne and Elaine Heimbach, of Selinsgrove. She is a 2008 graduate of the Achievement House Charter School and a 2010 graduate of Empire Beauty School. She is employed at the McKinley Run Farm and owner of the soon-to-open beauty salon, Mane Impressions.
He is the son of Terry and Laura Lash, of Denver, and Vicky and Mark Christ Sr., of Carlisle. He is a 2004 graduate of Juniata High School. He is employed at Sygma Network Trucking, of Harrisburg.
