Jessica Swartz, of Mifflintown, and Christiaan Vogel, of Pittsburgh, were married on June 26, 2010, at Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church, Mifflintown.
The bride is the daughter of Joel and Jill Swartz, of Mifflintown. The groom is the son of Dr. Victor and Dr. Saralyn Vogel of Lewisburg.
The maid of honor was Heidi Peachey, of Mifflintown.

Bridesmaids were: Joanna Swartz and Janelle Swartz, sisters of the bride; Heather Vogel, sister of the groom; Beth Winey and Emily Yoder, cousins of the bride; and Nicole Whistler, Brittany Bertoli, Molly Macioce and Tiffany Sherred.
Junior bridesmaids were Julianne, Josephine and Janessa Swartz, sisters of the bride.
Flower girls were: Jamie, Janae and Joselyn Swartz, sisters of the bride.
Groomsmen were: Donovan Vogel, cousin of the groom, and Steve Wein, Mike Grasso, Jason Shaffer, Jeffrey Ernest, Thomas Keane, Ryan Callahan, Alex Katich and Shane Finnin.
Ring bearer was Joel Swartz Jr., brother of the bride.
Pastor Albert Gray and Rev. Victor Vogel, grandfathers of the bride and groom, performed the ceremony that included: June Gray as pianist; Mary Hackenberger as harpist; Wendy Varner as wedding coordinator; Heather Vogel as soloist; Jenny Fry as guestbook attendant; Katie Fry and Olivia Varner as bulletin attendants; and Jenny Fry and Victoria Varner as acolytes.
A reception followed at the Holiday Inn, Harrisburg.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2010 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. She is continuing her education at University of Pittsburgh and Community College of Allegheny.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Fox Chapel High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. He is employed as a landman for DPS Penn in South Pointe.
Following a wedding trip to Curacao, they reside in Pittsburgh.
