Stefanie Rynkewitz and Joseph LaPolla are engaged to be married on June 4 at Grace United Methodist Church, Lewistown.
She is the daughter of Stephen and Darlene Rynkewitz, of Lewistown. She is a 2000 graduate of Lewistown Area High School, a 2004 graduate of Juniata College with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with studies in education, and a 2007 graduate of Towson University, with a Master of Arts degree and Certificate of Advanced Study. She began working with the Loudoun County Public School system in northern Virginia as a school psychologist in 2007, and became Behavior Support Coordinator in 2010. She is pursuing a doctoral degree at George Mason University.
He is the son of Bradford and Kathleen LaPolla, of Fairfax, Va. He is a 2002 graduate of Chantilly High School, and a 2006 graduate of Radford University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and criminal justice. He is employed by General Dynamics as a senior systems engineer.
