He is also a U.S. Army veteran in military intelligence, Molek said.

Molek said he has been a practicing attorney for more than 36 years and is also an instructor of law and criminal justice courses at South Hills School of Business and Technology in Lewistown and State College.

Molek said he is not a one-issue candidate. He said he reads, studies the issues, listens to people, then makes the best common sense decision he can.

He said he feels his education, background and board experience are important assets.

Molek said he considers himself to be a conservative, fiscally-responsible person working in the best interests of the children. He cites restoring parental responsibility, reduction of expenditures and staying within a budget as his primary goals.

Molek resides in Yeagertown with his wife, Josephine, three adult children who all have been educated in Mifflin County schools and has four grandchildren.
