Groninger-Truitt

Alison Groninger and Beau Truitt, both of Enola, were married on June 19, 2010 at Bunkertown Church of the Brethren in McAlisterville.

The bride is the daughter of Edgar and Kathy Groninger of McAlisterville. The groom is the son of Edgar and Susan Truitt, also of McAlisterville.

Megan Lucas of Hollywood, Fla., and formerly of McAlisterville, was the maid of honor. The groom's sister, McKenzie Truitt, was the attendant.

The best man was the groom's brother, Adam Truitt, of Thompsontown.

The ushers were Andrew Groninger, brother of the bride, and Ethan and Wade Truitt, brothers of the groom.

The Rev. David Barr of Annville, performed the ceremony that also included Briana Smith as the pianist.

A reception followed at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club in Hummels Wharf.

She is a 2001 graduate of East Juniata High School and 2005 graduate of Juniata College. She teaches kindergarten at Susquenita Elementary School.

He is a 1998 graduate of East Juniata High School and 2003 graduate of Lehigh University. He is a civil engineer at Century Engineering in New Cumberland.

Following a wedding trip to an island on the Georgian Bay of Lake Huron near Parry Sound in Ontario, Canada, the couple resides in Enola.
