Mary Cornelius, center, celebrates her 103rd birthday Tuesday at Brookline Manor in Mifflintown with Amanda Gesselman, activity assistant; and Stephanie Stein, campus activity director. Mary grew up on a farm in McAlisterville with four brothers and three sisters with whom she would play baseball when they had time. She is still a huge baseball fan today and loves the Cleveland Indians. Mary loves to do crossword puzzles, word searches and get manicures. Mary has one daughter, Doris Kepler, two grandsons, Dan and John Kepler, and one granddaughter Kathie Graham. Mary attended school until the eighth grade and eventually worked at a sewing factory in Meadville where she worked on zippers.
