Guy and Donna Appleby, of Lewistown, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 2, 2010.
They were married at the Highland Park Presbyterian Church by Rev. Dr. J. Riddle.
All three of their children still live in Lewistown: Alan S. Appley, Arica Appleby Monsell and Anne Appleby Clark.
They have six grandchildren: Nathan and Andrea Appleby; David and Katie Monsell; and Alexandra and Bradon Clark.
Guy is a retired business owner/insurance agent and served in the U.S. Navy.
Donna is a retired teacher/guidance counselor.
They attribute the success of their marriage to patience, commitment, and the ability to accept change and grow together.
