C. Roger and Helen L. (McLaughlin) Searer, of Mifflintown, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 25, 1960, at the Burnham Church of the Brethren in Burnham, by the Rev. Clarence E. Quay.
The special anniversary was recently celebrated with a family trip to Hawaii.
They are the parents of Troy D. Searer, and wife, Lisa, of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Mark A. Searer, of Thompsontown.
The have five grandchildren: Christian, Katie, Gillian, Jack and Abby.
He retired as branch manager of the Juniata Valley Bank in Blairs Mills. She retired as a sales coordinator at Standard Steel in Burnham.
They are members of the First United Methodist Church in Lewistown.
