LEWISTOWN - An early Tuesday morning fire that occurred along Folk Drive in Granville Township and completely destroyed a trailer is being investigated after the initial cause is unknown, fire officials said.

Officials said the abandoned trailer, located at 1 Folk Drive, off of Klondyke Road, was in the process of being destroyed by a privately owned demolition company.

Witnesses later stated members of the crew were "sawing the building and roof" off of the trailer when it caught fire, Junction Fire Co. Lt. Mike Smith said. Smith said no one was occupying the trailer at the time of fire, yet the incident itself was "a complete loss."

Granville Fire Co., West Granville Fire Co., Yeagertown Fire Co., Highland Park Hose Co., Brooklyn Hose Co. and Fame EMS also assisted at the scene.
