Robert and Mae Gregg, of McClure, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
She is the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Goss, and he is the son of the late Thelma Gregg, of Lewistown, and the late Jim and Alberta Gregg, of Buffalo, N.Y.
They were married on Feb. 20, 1960, by Rev. Swanson at Samuel's Church in McClure. A reception followed at the home of the bride's parents.
Together they raised Mae's two children, Mrs. Gerald (Linda) Stephenenson, of Texas, and Terry and his wife, Carolyn Wray, of Belltown. Bob is the father of Ronnie Gregg and wife, Johanna, of Alabama, and the late Bobbie Gregg.
They have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was employed at American Viscose and Standard Steel before retiring.
Mae worked at the Arrow Shirt Factory and Jaywood.
Bob likes watching sports, while Mae spends her time quilting. They enjoy flowers and gardening, fishing and camping locally and in Florida.
They attribute the success of their marriage to patience and compromising. They still attend Samuel's Church.
