Anna Margaret Rupert, of Granville, and James Serafin, of Mechanicsburg, were married on Nov. 21, 2009, at Granville United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Kelvin and Joyce Rupert, of Granville. The groom is the son of Robert and Jean Serafin, of Mechanicsburg.

Alison Rupert, of Granville, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The best man was Erick Hoffman, of Mechanicsburg.

Bridesmaids were: Lara Beth North, of Burnham, cousin of the bride; Janene Borandi, of Baltimore Md.; Jacquelyn Druktenis, of Frederick, Md.; Heather Hosier, of West Chester; and Kathryn Minemyer, of Endicott, N.Y.

The flower girl was Emily Serafin, of Carlisle, niece of the groom.

Ushers were: Bob Serafin, of Carlisle, brother of the groom; Bill Serafin, of Mount Holly Springs, brother of the groom; Matthew Trusch, of Mechanicsburg; Dan Lewis, of Mechanicsburg; and Victor Rupert, of Granville, brother of the bride.

The ring bearers were Matthew Serafin, of Carlisle, and Joseph Serafin, of Mount Holly Springs, nephews of the groom.

The Rev. Susan Halverstadt and the Rev. Mark Brower performed the ceremony that also included Nancy Collins, pianist, and Alison Rupert and Beth Norman, who sang "For the Beauty of the Earth."

A reception followed at Green Gables Inn, Lewistown.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Shippensburg University. She is emloyed as HR Manager at CURE International.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Mechanicsburg Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Mount Saint Mary's University. He is employed as a territory sales manager at Pepsi Bottling Group.

Following a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, Calif., they live in New Cumberland.
