Kiwanis Club announces Christmas parade results

LEWISTOWN - The Lewistown Kiwanis Club sponsored the annual Christmas Parade on Saturday in downtown Lewistown. The theme for the Parade was "A Hometown Christmas." Prizes were awarded in the following categories:

Floats: first prize, First United Methodist Church; second prize, Mifflin County Public Safety; third prize, Junction Auto Train.

Marching units, walkers: first prize, P.A. Youth Ranch; second prize, Cub Scouts Pack Six; third prize, Burnham Bulldogs.

Emergency vehicles: first prize, City Hook and Ladder; second prize, Highland Park.

Originality: Mifflin County Public Safety.

Judges Prize: First United Methodist.

Special thanks to the Indian Valley and Lewistown Marching bands for participating. Thank you to the Stone Arch Players for volunteering to judge: Abby Hunley-Burns, Collette Hartzler and Paul Olbrich.
