McCLURE - Barbara Ellen Wray, 71, of 3878 Old Stage Rd., McClure, died at 3:47 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Sept. 29, 1938, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Maxine (Hubler) Wilt. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen E. Wray Sr. on July 13, 2000.
She is survived by her children, Glen E. Wray Jr. of McClure; Mabel L. Peachey and her husband Carl Jr. of McClure and Barbara E. Kephart of Altoona; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother William Wilt of Yeagertown and was preceded in death by a sister, Sidney Guthridge.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Alfarata.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 573 Alfarata Rd., Lewistown with Rev. David Pennebaker officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Interment will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dormantown Cemetery, McClure.
