Carl W. and Mildred L. (Hefright) Miller, of Van Wert, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 31, 1949, in Maryland.
They celebrated their special anniversary with a family dinner at Family House Restaurant.
They are the parents of: Richard Gray, Oregon; Carol Kaufman, Lewistown; Carla and Barry Renson, Langhorne; and Alice Miller, Walnut.

He is retired from Fairless Hills Steel and is a veteran of World War II.
She was employed in electronics and other positions.
They are members of the Methodist Church of East Salem.
