Guy and Gladys (Wert) Heister celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on June 11.
They were married on June 11, 1939, by Rev. McGazick in Kurnstown, Va. They are the parents of three daughters, Janice Swab, of Mifflintown, Kathy Carter, of Lewistown, and Barb Winey, of Harrisburg.
They have eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
