Thomas C. and Georgia L. Swartz Green, of Lewistown, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 7, 1959, at Strodes Mills Baptist Church by Pastor Ellsworth Campbell, uncle of the bride.
They are the parents of two sons, Thomas R. Green and Michael S. Green, both of Lewistown. They also have a grandson, Jacob Green, son of Michael and Susan Green.

He is employed as a barber and she is retired from Lewistown Hospital.
The church in the photo was constructed by the couple's son, Mike, out of an actual cement block acquired from the site of the demolition of the old Strodes Mills Bible Baptist Church.
