Train car burns

Fire rages through an abandoned train car Tuesday in Burnham, as numerous fire companies were dispatched to the scene to douse the flames. Crews were notified around 6 p.m. of the fire that occurred behind Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Burnham. Sgt. John Chester of the Mifflin County Regional Police Department confirmed Tuesday that the fire had been declared an arson, and three juveniles had been interviewed in connection with the incident.

Reedsville, Burnham, Yeagertown, United, East Derry, Highland Park, Junction, City Hook and Ladder and Belleville fire companies as well as Fame EMS responded to the scene. See more photos at cu.lewistownsentinel.com.
