Car catches fire on truck

April 10, 2009
Lewistown Sentinel

An extinguished 2001 Crown Victoria sits along U.S. 322 East, about two miles from the Thompsontown exit, Thursday as the result of an accidental car fire. Car owner Wuseim Chaudnryi, of Washington D.C., was transporting the vehicle on the back of a tow dolly to a car dealership when he "just looked back and saw there was smoke coming from the engine." Chaudnryi and two others were able to unlatch the car from the dolly as fire officials arrived on scene. No one was injured as a result. Thompsontown Fire Co. assisted at the scene.
