LEWISTOWN - Multiple emergency management crews and officers of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission raced Sunday afternoon to a water rescue scene on the Juniata River.

Officer Corey Britcher of the Pa. Fish and Boat Commission said three people with multiple injuries were pulled from a boat by a witness. The incident involved a single boat and occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday in the vicinity of the Locust Grove Campground in Granville Township. Britcher said all three were transported to Lewistown Hospital. The names and conditions of the three people were not released by officials.
