MIFFLINTOWN - Charlotte M. Ranck, 89, of Brookline Manor, RR1, Mifflintown, and formerly of RR2, Mifflintown, died at 4:55 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the Manor.
Born on May 20, 1919, in Lewistown, she is the daughter of the late Fred and Lottie (Bearley) Hartsock. Her husband, Wilbur J. Ranck, preceded her in death on November 8, 1977.
Surviving are: one daughter, Jean E. Fowler, of RR2, Mifflintown; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death, making her the last of her immediate family.
She was a member of the Locust Run United Methodist Church, RR2 Mifflintown.
Charlotte retired as a seamstress on May 22, 1980, from Rae-Sel Dress Factory, Port Royal.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. Maureen Wagner officiating. Interment will be in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, RR2, Port Royal.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
